Jikoji Zen Temple and Retreat Center

Jikoji Zen Temple and Retreat Center is a rustic mountain retreat established in 1983 by Kobun Chino Roshi and a group of students. Jikoji is maintained by a group of resident caretakers and non-resident sangha members. The facilities include an institutional kitchen, community space (living/dining room, bath rooms), two dormitory rooms, two private rooms, and a Zendo that comfortably seats 20+ people. All or part of the facilities are available for group as well as personal retreats at reasonable rates. Retreatants are welcome to participate in the Jikoji meditation schedule and other activities. Retreat Logistics

Where: Jikoji Zen Temple and Retreat Center; 12100 Skyline Blvd, near Saratoga, California

When: June 20-25, 2010, starting at 5pm on Sunday and ending at 3pm on Friday.

Costs: There are two parts to consider, tuition & facility use. Tuition is $500. Bring a buddy, $425 each, bring two buddies, $400. Partial scholarships are available.
There's also $600 - 'sustain NVCSC' rate & $700 'support others in attending' rate.

Accommodations and all Meals, per person:
Single Room: $600
Double: $500
Shared/Dorm: $400
Camping: $300
Commuters day use and 10 meals: $275
